Flat belt/Discharge belt conveyors

The flat belt /discharge belt conveyor forms part of the group of mechanical continuous-flow conveyors which move the conveyed material and the carrying device continuously over a predetermined travel path from the feeding point to the discharge point at a constant or alternating speed. In the upper belt, the belt slides over the carrying run on the supporting framework. Advantages of the belt conveyor compared to other conveyor systems:

  • low maintenance
  • minimal wear
  • very high material flow rate
  • long conveying distances
  • low-noise during operation

These conveyors are composed of standardised elements, making subsequent adjustment of the centre distance possible. All of the parts used in these conveyors have been designed in accordance with existing standards and accident prevention regulations. All fasteners, such as nuts and bolts, washers, etc., are electrolytically galvanised. The individual types predominantly differ in terms of the pulley diameter and the widths of the frame/belt.
